A pictorial shout out to the lovely places around the globe we have had the good fortune to stay in.
Barbados – The Butterfly Beach Hotel
Wrap around balcony, full kitchen and a full fish market a 5 minute walk away. Swimming with sea turtles and experiencing the Oistins Friday night fish fry a must.

Provincetown – The White Dory
Beach house, amazing shops and galleries nearby, huge hydrangeas and winding cycle trails. Bonus bunny rabbits in the yard

Tuscany
Many lovely stays. A vineyard, seaside hotels as well as Villa Montebello in Chianti , hidden amongst the cypress tress, olive groves and eucalyptus fields. Truly some gorgeous spots with fresh pools.

Miami – an older condo with huge theatre, lounges containing shots of the rat pack. Hugh Hefner had an apartment on the penthouse floor with an elevator for his car. The basement of this joint boasted a full Turkish spa . We toured it and there were several whirlpools of varying temperatures, infrared rooms, hot tubs, saunas and a room where one could get beaten with weeds. A marble horse in the lobby with amazing old art. Our room was a two story with a spiral stair case. A grand old dame of a spot.

Prince Edward Island ( The Heron Nest). A round old train stop , converted to an Air B and B. 10 K of deserted beaches on either side of us. Doggies ran free. Pink interior. So much fun !

Cuba – Holguin. A true Five star resort. Hot tubs dotted the property with champagne chilling on ice everywhere, opulent surroundings, stunning gardens and beach. Snorkeling a few steps away and 24 hour rooms service. Spanish owned with a very decent wine collection !

Mexico – The Belair Hotel in Xpuha. Essential a very large treehouse with great WIFI and hot tub , hammock on the balcony, surrounded by a zoo. Excellent staff and great food, as well as free bikes and swimming with the manatees.

Our wandering adventures will continue. Let not one foul VRBO erase a lifetime of ecstatic explorations !
