 from moments
 far down
 long past
 in the timestream
 of our lives.

 Given,
 because you asked.

 But also,
 in the hope that
 they will remain
 in your mind
 like grains of sand
 in an oyster

 and roll around
 in the better  memories
 of those we share,
 to become coated
 and lustrous

    as pearls.
